Sophia Serruya Monteiro excels in working with traditional mediums and takes pride in her ability to adapt across various creative forms. Her goal as an artist is to convey vulnerability and inner depth, often through subtle portrayals of portraits and characters.
She deeply values thoughtful interpretation and allowing her work to communicate its meaning. By exploring the nuances of human experience, Sophia hopes to inspire others to embrace their own authenticity and inner voice. She believes there is something profoundly powerful about the personal freedom we all possess.
In her paintings, Sophia loves capturing bittersweet, melancholic moments, creating a distinct emotional resonance. She is currently developing a portfolio centered around themes of childhood and dependence.
